Our introductory paragliding course is designed for people who want to start from scratch or take up flying again after a break. It is the first step towards becoming a pilot and starting to fly safely and progressively.
The course takes place in flight areas selected for their conditions and reliability, allowing us to easily adapt to the weather and make the most of each training day.
We use modern, proven teaching methods combining ground practice, short flights, tandem flights with an instructor, and radio-guided flights. The entire course is conducted with modern, top-of-the-line equipment from leading European brands.
Goals
The objective of the introductory paragliding course is for students to acquire the knowledge and skills to make their first flights with confidence, safety, and control, always within a progressive and guided learning environment.
If you sign up for the course, you will learn how to check and prepare your equipment, correctly execute your first takeoffs and landings, and orient yourself in flight, gaining autonomy step by step.
All this learning is supported by theoretical content that is directly applied to practice, which, in addition to improving your technical skills, will allow you to interpret weather conditions and choose the right flying locations, laying the foundations for further progress as a pilot.
Learn to fly close to home
The Pre-Pyrenees, in the north of the Iberian Peninsula, offer ideal conditions for beginners to paragliding.
In our basic course, we fly in areas that are particularly suitable for the early stages, such as the hillside of the Monlora monastery or the Somontano valleys, with spectacular scenery such as the surroundings of Loarre Castle.
For ground practice, we make use of time at the take-off and landing areas, as well as specially chosen locations for practicing and controlling the paraglider on the ground, which facilitates the course and optimizes training time.
Certified professional instructors
We have a team of professionals who are passionate about paragliding and fully committed to teaching. Our instructors are certified as paragliding sports technicians, recognized by the Aragonese School of Sport, and also have international APPI certification, which allows our students to accredit their level to fly abroad.
We work to offer a safe, comprehensive, and high-quality training experience, strictly complying with Aragon's active tourism regulations. With hundreds of students trained and an exclusive dedication to paragliding instruction, we are confident that learning to fly here is not a distant dream.
Introduction course programme
First steps on the plain
You will learn how to prepare and install your equipment, apply safety protocols, and practice techniques adapted to different wind conditions, working on controlling the paraglider on the ground until you are completely ready for your first takeoffs.
We will have 2 to 5 sessions.
Transition to air
After an introduction to the basic principles of flying, you will make your first short flights from training slopes, applying the techniques learned on flat ground and with the aim of gradually adapting to paragliding.
This stage takes place over 2 to 4 sessions.
First Flights
Before flying on your own, you will complete at least one tandem flight with an instructor.
The aim of this stage is to familiarize yourself with the first maneuvers, understand how the paraglider reacts, and gain confidence in the air, paving the way for your first solo flights.
High-altitude flights
After gaining confidence in paragliding, you will make at least eight flights, including at least two from a height of over 300 meters, enjoying more time in the air and spectacular views. At this stage, you will practice turns, approaches, and landings, complemented by specific theory lessons.
